Kosta Kanaroglou, Vice President


London born, Kosta Kanaroglou grew up in the UK from the age of 11. He has a BSc in Biology and a MBA. He is very keen on Family Business Management and has attended seminars at Harvard and other institutions on that subject. With the help of other business families, he founded Family Business Network (FBN) Greece.

His professional career evolved in the areas of Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare in general since 1997. He has held several roles in AstraZeneca Spain, both locally as well as on international projects, before moving to Greece in 2007. Since, he has worked in Cana Laboratories, a Greek pharmaceutical company established in 1928 by his grandfather, assuming the role of CEO in 2012 and President of the Board in 2018. Since 2017 he has been actively pursuing opportunities in the Medical Cannabis market as he believes it is the next big thing in medicine.

Kosta is fluent in Greek, English, Spanish and French, loves spending time with his wife and two daughters and is passionate about being a racing driver.

Founder of The Cube

Stavros is the founder of The Cube Workspace, Athens' largest coworking community, which hosts some of Greece's best technologists. Prior to founding The Cube, Stavros was a software developer and had a long career working in the Government sector in Information Management roles.

Since founding The Cube, Stavros and his team have created an ecosystem that is home to most of Athens’ technology events, hackathons, innovation sessions and training events. Through coding and business bootcamps, Stavros and The Cube are creating the next generation of top tier coders and businessmakers. Recognized locally and internationally as the de-facto startup space of Greece, several major Greek startups have emerged through collaborations with The Cube and its founders. Prior to this Stavros had cofounded Greece's first coworking community, coLab Athens.

Managing Director, Carpenter Turner

Alexander Turner holds a Master’s degree in MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance (City University, CASS Business School) and an undergraduate degree in BSc in Statistics, Computers, Operational Research and Economics (University College London). He is also a Chartered Insurance Broker (ACII qualified).

Alexander initiated his professional career with Aon UK Limited in 2000, being involved in catastrophe modelling and non-marine treaty business in Europe.  In 2003 he joined Aon Turner Reinsurance Services SA under the capacity of Director Treaty Reinsurance, Debt Capital Markets and Analytics. In 2011 he was promoted to Deputy CEO of AON Benfield in Greece & Cyprus as well as having a regional responsibility for South East Europe including Middle East on the Analytics side.

In 2013 he co-founded “Carpenter Turner SA” a joint venture with the global broking firm “Guy Carpenter”. Carpenter Turner operates in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey, offering both Treaty, Facultative and analytics in Life and Non-Life business


Angelos Mastrantonis, Vice President

Mr. Mastrantonis joined Energean in 2011 as Human Resources and Administration Director. From July 2016 until end 2017 he also served as the Managing Director of Energean Oil & Gas SA Greece and as a member of the board, serving also as Country Manager of Energean in Greece from April 2020 until September 2021.

He manages HR and Admin, providing decision-making support and leadership along with management of business-critical, large-scale projects.

Mr. Mastrantonis obtained his business administration degrees (BA and MBA) from University of Staffordshire in the UK and an MSc in Human Resources Management from Athens University of Business and Economics.
